Paige is excited to be your Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT®) in Memphis! While you may have heard about and/or seen Zentangle-inspired art, the Zentangle® Method is only taught by CZTs who are personally trained by the founders, Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. ZENTANGLE DEFINED The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas developed Zentangle after realizing the state of flow and peace Maria would often experience when creating calligraphy-based artwork. As they devised the Zentangle Method, they aspired for Zentangle to be accessible to all ages and cultures - and that tangling could happen virtually anywhere! THE BENEFITS OF ZENTANGLE Engaging in the Zentangle Method has been found to provide numerous personal, professional, and health benefits. Some include, but are certainly not limited to: • Reduced stress and anxiety • Increased focus, motivation, creative thinking, and/or problem-solving • Improved self-concept, mood, and/or social interactions • Motor skill development and improvements • Sense of pride and accomplishment • Team-building • Self-care WHERE TANGLING HAPPENS Zentangle workshops, classes, and gatherings can happen in: • Schools (with staff and/or students) • Offices/Corporations • Community and wellness centers • Art museums, organizations, and/or studios • Yoga studios • Private practices • Hospitals (with clients/patients, healthcare providers, caregivers, and/or families) • Religious settings (i.e., synagogues, churches, etc.) • Homes LET'S *TANGLE ON* TOGETHER! ZENTANGLE GATHERING

Join your Memphis CZTs for this Mid-South Tanglers' gathering. This FREE event is open to all tanglers - beginners to experienced - to meet each other, get inspired, talk all things Zentangle, and tangle together. This is not a class - there will not be any instruction. Please bring your own supplies to work with. • PAST/AVAILABLE OFFERINGS •
INTRO TO ZENTANGLE
This basic class will introduce you to the Zentangle Method. Class will cover the history, the steps, and the techniques of creating an original Zentangle tile while learning numerous tangle patterns. This class invites all levels and requires no artistic experience. This is a great starter class that is bound to leave you thirsty for more! No art experience is needed. All levels are welcome. You may take numerous intro/white tile classes. This can also be offered as a class series. 
ZENTANGLE BLACK TILES
During this introduction to Zentangle black tiles class, you will experience the Zentangle method and see where black tiles and white drawing supplies can take you. You're bound to leave ready for more! An Introduction to Zentangle class with a CZT is highly recommended. You may take numerous black tiles classes. This can also be offered as a class series. * No classes scheduled at this time. 
ZENTANGLE - BEYOND THE BASICS
Are you ready to take what you learned and created during the Intro to Zentangle class and expand your tangling practice? Learn more tangle patterns, shading techniques, and embellishment techniques... You never know where Zentangle will take you! An Intro to Zentangle class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) is required to take this class. This can also be offered as a class series. * No classes scheduled at this time. 
ZENTANGLE MANDALAS - ZENDALAS
Get inspired while learning about the timeless art form of mandalas through the Zentangle Method and Zendalas. Creating mandalas can help you relax and lead you to new paths of self-awareness and creativity. An Introduction to Zentangle class with a CZT is required. You may take numerous zendala classes. This can also be offered as a class series. * No classes scheduled at this time. 
ZENTANGLE & MANTRA ROCKS WORKSHOP
Participants will be guided through the Zentangle Method, learning various tangle patterns on an original tile. Then, you will create a personalized Mantra Rock with a favorite mantra or affirmation to inspire & empower your everyday life. * No classes scheduled at this time. ~ All Zentangle classes are subject to cancellation, due to less than 4 people being registered 36 hours prior to class. Drop-in students will be accepted if the minimum number is met 36 hours prior to class. Registered students will be notified of any cancellations. Class registration fees cannot be transferred unless otherwise noted and/or discussed with Paige.
